Siemens FlowMotion & xSPECT

CASE STUDY

PROJECT: Siemens Healthineers Scientific Literature Library & Clinical Cases Presentations for FlowMotion and xSPECT on a Custom Designed Interactive Presentation Wall.

AGENCY: Wizdom Media

BACKGROUND: Siemens Healthineers, the medical division of Siemens AG, is headquartered in Munich, Germany. The U.S. division is located in Malvern, PA.

Siemens Healthineers used freestanding kiosks throughout their exhibit spaces for interactive presentations, lead generation, and for promotional purposes.

CHALLENGES: Interactive Presentation Wall, Digital Presentations (see below).

INTERACTIVE PRESENTATION WALL (Structure)

  1. Design a custom booth wall that could house multiple digital interactive presentations for use on the exhibit floor
  2. The wall needed to be separated into two halves mirroring each other, but containing content for two separate products, FlowMotion and xSPECT

DIGITAL PRESENTATIONS

  1. Design a product where users could dive into specific topic categories, browse and select literature, and then “check out”, with the literature being sent to the requester via email
  2. Create an interactive PowerPoint presentation allowing users to walk through various clinical cases
  3. Create a promotional animated video
  4. Brand guidelines for interactive digital presentations did not exist yet, so the project was forging new ground

STRATEGY: It was of the utmost importance that the user could use the products quickly, simply and efficiently, despite the distractions of exhibit environments, with crowds of people and a lot of noise.

RESULTS: The wall and presentations were an immediate hit in the exhibit space, with crowds gathering and using the products from opening to close. Siemens stakeholders were enthusiastic and supportive of the initiative, and both were used throughout the year, leading to innovations and improvements for the following years.

EPILOGUE: Based on the success of the Scientific Literature Library for SNMMI and EANM, Siemens Diagnostics requested their own custom implementation for AACC 2016. Brand design guidelines had changed and the content was different but the basic premise remained. This product was also well received and used throughout the year. Additionally, for SNMMI 2017, a revised product was developed to reflect the new brand design guidelines, and the learnings that occurred over the past 2 years and various implementations.
