AGENCY: Wizdom Media

BACKGROUND: RSDecon, is a brand of products manufactured for the Healthcare Protective Products Division (HPPD) of Bracco Diagnostics Inc. RSDL, RSDecon’s main product, is a patented, broad spectrum topical skin decontamination product intended to neutralize or remove Chemical Warfare agents and T-2 toxin from the skin.

CHALLENGE: Rebrand RSDecon and it’s main product, RSDL. The goal was to present RSDecon and RSDL as the premium decontamination product for use all over the world by war fighters, first responders and people who may come in contact with biological or chemical agents in an attack or accident. Photography could not be staged, but instead had to be real world scenarios, with accurate representations of first responders and war fighters with their actual gear. Approvals would need to come from various agencies in the Federal Government under strike guidelines.

PROCESS: The strategy was to present RSDecon as intelligent, cutting edge and technology based. Striking real world photography, the heavy use of black with thin white lines and grids denote a futuristic interface, projected a high tech, energetic and serious face to a product created for grim circumstances.

RESULTS: After gaining the appropriate approvals, RSDecon was successfully able to launch their products into more countries, helping to ensure that those who are on the first line of defense can stay safe, globally.
